Job summary

Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Nursing Technician to support patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse. The role involves basic nursing tasks, documentation and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• RN student enrolled in a professional nursing program with completed Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and remains enrolled.
• RN graduate who has taken the State board exam and has not yet passed within the first year after graduation; after one year may be demoted to a non-licensed position.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed).

Responsibilities

• Assist in treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Provide basic patient care and support, including routine nursing tasks as assigned.
