Qualifications

• The candidate is a nursing student enrolled in an RN program with successful completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills and remains enrolled.
• A graduate RN who has taken but not passed the state board within the first year after graduation; after one year may be demoted.
• Within 30 days of hire, must obtain National Provider BLS from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Assist in treatment and care as part of the nursing team.
• Support nursing staff by observing and reporting changes in patient condition.

Education

Nursing student enrolled in RN program with course completion in Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment

Graduate of professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not passed the State board of Nursing within the first year following graduation

Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)
