Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; Maryland Nursing Assistant Certification required.
  • Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Ability to follow universal safety precautions and hospital policies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with direct patient care procedures under the supervision of the RN.
  • Observe and document vital signs and patient condition; report changes to RN.
  • Assist with setup and positioning for procedures and basic care tasks.
  • Provide comfort measures and ensure patient safety and dignity.
  • Complete documentation per hospital guidelines and participate in orientation.
  • Support infection control and safety initiatives; attend required meetings.
