Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Licenses: CNA (application for LNA within 7 days and LNA within 30 days); EMT; LNA.

Responsabilités

• Performs rapid appraisal of a patient's immediate stability and responds to insure well-being.
• Transport patients to other departments on monitors as appropriate and requested.
• Assists RNs and Physicians with exams, diagnostics, and procedures including EKGs and wound care.
• Document all care and procedures provided.
• Recognizes work priorities and anticipates department needs.
• Blood glucose testing, phlebotomy, IV tasks as state statues allow.
• Monitor supply levels and coordinate with EVS, maintenance, and biomedical staff.
• Performs other duties to support department and organization.
