Job summary

Virtua Health in Burlington area is seeking a Part-time Med Surg Tele Heart Failure support role. Under RN/LPN supervision, you will assist with activities of daily living and basic care, performing vitals and selected procedures.

Emphasis on safety, communication, and teamwork in a hospital setting. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a PCT/CNA or nursing fundamentals course, with BLS certification and potential phlebotomy/EKG duties depending on department

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a PCT course, a fundamentals nursing course in an RN program, a CNA program, or equivalent of 1 year direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, mobility).
• Support safe patient care practices and standard precautions.
• Perform vital signs, point-of-care testing, bladder scanning, Foley care.
• May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Communicate changes in patient status to RN/LPN.
• Support patient education and family involvement.
• Participate in patient satisfaction initiatives and quality improvement.
