Job summary

Campbell County Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech to assist patients under supervision across departments. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and compassionate care during inpatient stays, with potential cross-training in Laundry, Environmental Services, and administrative tasks throughout the hospital.

The PCT collaborates with RNs, CNAs, and care managers to ensure patient safety and comfort while following hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must complete CCH PCT education.
• One year healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR certification per policy and ongoing updates.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care and assist with interventions to meet goals.
• Assist patients with basic needs and department tasks as needed.
• Provide service excellence and maintain professional interactions with all staff.
• Supervise patients care without distractions and maintain a safe environment.
• Accurately document patient behaviors and care activities in the chart.
• Transport patients to and from beds, therapy, radiology or other facilities.
