The role involves direct patient care, safe handling, hygiene support, and timely documentation in the EMR system, contributing to high-quality patient outcomes.

Candidates should have prior PCT experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow infection control and safety procedures in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as Patient Care Technician.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
• Proficient computer skills for EMR and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under RN/LVN guidance.
• Reports changes in patient condition to RN or Shift Manager.
• Records vital signs, I&O, and other patient data in EMR accurately.
• Assists with feeding, hygiene, and daily activities of assigned patients.
• Ensures fall prevention measures and bed safety protocols are followed.
• Maintains infection control practices and proper body mechanics.
