Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living including hygiene, nutrition, mobility, safety, and comfort.
• Monitors and documents vital signs, patient weights, intake/output, and other data.
• Completes patient treatments as directed and assists clinicians with more complex procedures.
• Performs phlebotomy, EKGs, Holter monitoring, glucometry, and specimen collection with proper labeling.
• Responds to patient call lights and resolves patient issues promptly.
• Transports discharged patients and participates in patient care rounds.
• Provides one-to-one observation when needed and supports education and safety programs.
