Qualifications

• 2 years of equivalent medical setting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families promptly in a welcoming, courteous manner.
• Confirm patient identity and maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Obtain and record vitals, pain scores, weights/heights in EPIC, report changes.
• Obtain specimens and ensure proper labeling with two identifiers.
• Perform phlebotomy and EKG as applicable.
• Transport patients, records, specimens, and supplies per policy.
• Maintain stock of supplies and assist with chart preparation.
• Support unit procedures and equipment maintenance; ensure patient flow.
