Job summary

Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center Brighton, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join a dedicated interdisciplinary team. You will support daily living activities, monitor patients, and document care in the EHR, while working under licensed personnel.

Opportunities for mentorship, tuition reimbursement, and career pathways are available. The position is onsite at 100 North Beacon Street with a night shift and a 32-hour week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• NCCT Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• 1–2 years of patient care experience in hospital or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs, basic nursing tasks, phlebotomy, and 1:1 patient observation.
• Document height, intake/output, and vitals in the EHR.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and daily activities.
• Stock rooms, clean equipment, and report malfunctions.
• Assist with admitting and discharging patients.
• Coordinate with RNs and physicians; support orientation of new staff.
