Job summary

You will perform patient care tasks, assist with admissions and transfers, collect specimens, and help maintain clean, safe care areas while following safety and privacy rules.

Qualifications

• Previous healthcare experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand and move during the shift

Responsibilities

• Help patients with bathing, eating, walking, and personal care
• Take and record vital signs
• Answer call lights and check on patients often
• Watch for changes in patient condition and report to the nurse
• Help with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Collect and transport lab specimens
• Keep patient rooms and care areas clean and stocked
• Follow safety, infection control, and privacy rules
• Be kind and respectful to patients, families, and coworkers
