Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York is seeking a full-time Patient Care Associate (PCA) in Astoria, NY. The PCA will provide total care to patients, including personal hygiene and mobility assistance, while documenting vital signs and maintaining cleanliness in the unit.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited high school diploma, various certifications, and a commitment to providing compassionate patient care. The position requires the ability to lift patients and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• EKG Certificate preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certificate required.
• BCLS Certification and computer competency required.
• PCA / PCT / CNA Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Administers total care to patients, including hygiene and mobility assistance.
• Documents vital signs in electronic medical records.
• Maintains cleanliness of treatment areas and equipment.
• Assists with nursing follow-ups and transmits necessary information.
