Job summary

Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, AR, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PRN) to join our 28-bed Medical Telemetry unit. You will provide direct patient care, support documentation, and help maintain equipment and supplies while upholding quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (Nursing Assistant certificate preferred) and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma preferred.
• License: Nursing Assistant Certificate preferred.
• Certifications: BLS; Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Performs specific documentation in the patient's record.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and participates in quality assurance.
• Communicates appropriate information in departmental and interdepartmentally.
• Assists and participates in staff education and pursues continuing education for personal development.
• Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately to patients, utilizing appropriate policies and procedures.
