Job summary

UCHealth CeDAR in Aurora, CO is seeking a patient care assistant to support RN-supervised basic patient care in a full-time, on-site role with a 72-hour biweekly schedule. Compensation ranges from $19.10 to $24.83 per hour, determined by experience.

Responsibilities include monitoring vitals and glucose, assisting with ADLs, and notifying nursing staff of changes while maintaining clean, stocked units. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs, take blood glucose measurements, and record intake and output.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Report abnormal findings or changes to nursing staff.
• Keep units and patient rooms stocked and clean; perform clerical duties as assigned; assist with transfers.
