Visiting Angels Bettendorf is hiring a Patient Care Assistant - PCA to support seniors in the Quad Cities area. The role involves assisting with daily living, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and companionship, with opportunities for additional training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

We offer Full Time and Part Time positions, flexible shifts, and pay between $14.00 and $16.00 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required to join our local team providing compassionate care.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have valid Driver's License.

Aufgaben

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
