Job summary

DCH Health System is seeking a dedicated care assistant to provide compassionate personal care under a registered nurse's supervision. You will assist with vital signs, positioning, ambulation, and daily living tasks, while maintaining safety and cleanliness across the unit.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and English proficiency. CNA training is preferred but not required for consideration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA training preferred.
• Must have basic math and computer skills to support EMR and intranet.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care as per plan with nurse supervision.
• Record intake/output and vital signs as directed.
• Assist with ambulation, positioning and daily living activities.
• Set up oxygen equipment and basic medical devices.
• Document care accurately and follow safety procedures.
