Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must be at least 17 years old.
• Nurse Assistant certification preferred; Basic Life Support/ CPR within 3 months of hire and maintain certification.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient admission and discharge and orient to room.
• Bathing patients, minor hygiene, bed making, and daily room care.
• Assist with feeding and meal tray distribution.
• Take and record vital signs and weights, including blood pressure and pulse.
• Assist with catheter/wound care and postmortem care as directed by RN.
• Respond to patient call lights and relay messages appropriately.
• Transport patients and manage equipment and supplies.
