Temple Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will support the plan of care, monitor vital signs, perform ECGs, and assist with daily living activities while ensuring safety, comfort, and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and nursing-related training; one clinical rotation or CNA/MA program is preferred. Onsite certification within 90 days may be required.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant Program or completion of at least one clinical rotation preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Aufgaben

• Provides direct and indirect patient care duties under the guidance of the RN.
• Measures vital signs and performs ECGs; capillary blood glucose monitoring as needed.
• Observes and reports equipment status, treatment results, and change in patient condition.
• Incorporates the Hospital's Customer Service Program into patient care activities (confidentiality, responsiveness, caring).
• Accountable to the Nurse Manager for all activities and adheres to department policies.
