Job summary

Penn Medicine in Lancaster, PA, seeks a Full Time .9FTE patient care support teammate to assist with direct, non-licensed patient care under supervision. You will help with daily living activities, hygiene, mobility, and comfort, while documenting care and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

You will participate in admission, transfer, and discharge processes, respond to patient calls, and support RN staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to perform non-licensed patient care under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct non-licensed patient care under supervision.
• Document accurately and timely according to standards.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Respond to patient call lights promptly and support RN staff.
• Maintain clean, safe and organized patient and unit areas.
