Job summary

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or GED, CPR/BLS certification within 30 days, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• AHA CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to perform non-licensed patient care under supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assists with delivery of direct, non-licensed patient care under supervision.
• Performs environment management tasks: cleaning, equipment inventory per unit standards.
• Orders and stocks supplies; demonstrates cost containment.
• Documents patient information accurately and timely.
• Assists with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Safety: maintains safe patient environments and follows precautions.
• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Responds to patient call lights promptly and assists RN as needed.
• Provides 1:1 observation and emergency response as required.
