Job summary

Visiting Angels Springfield is seeking a Patient Care Aide (PCA) to support seniors with daily living tasks, mobility, meal prep, and companionship. The role serves clients across Macoupin, Sangamon, and nearby counties in home settings.

The PCA earns $16-$20 per hour with flexible full-time, part-time, or PRN shifts and a $400 sign-on bonus. Benefits include health coverage and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
