Job summary

Visiting Angels Athens is seeking a Patient Care Aide - PCA to support seniors in Athens and surrounding areas, including Eatonton, Madison, Greensboro. The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, focusing on compassionate, respectful care with one-on-one attention.

Responsibilities include daily living tasks, mobility assistance, meal preparation and transportation, with opportunities for growth through dementia or Alzheimer’s care training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility around the home or during appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Shop for clients or accompany them shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
