Job summary

Qualifications

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of Admissions, Billing, Collections, Insurance and/or Customer Service experience.
• Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients to collect demographic and financial data.
• Verifies insurance coverage and initiates pre-certification when required.
• Receives payments, issues receipts, and assists with daily deposits.
• Prepares reports and patient identification materials as needed.
• Communicates estimated financial responsibility to patients.
