Legacy Church is seeking a Part‑Time Pastoral Care Pastor to provide compassionate support to our congregation and community. You will be present for significant life moments, offering prayer, encouragement, and counseling in line with our mission and faith commitments.

The role involves visiting hospitalized or homebound members, officiating weddings and funerals, and coordinating with staff and volunteers to extend care during transitions and loss.

Qualifications

• Genuine calling to pastoral ministry.
• Demonstrated spiritual maturity, compassion, wisdom, and integrity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Ability to minister through joyful and difficult life events.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Ability to work independently and with church staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Visit congregants needing pastoral care and provide prayer and encouragement.
• Offer pastoral counseling within church policies and refer to professionals when needed.
• Officiate weddings and celebrations of life in line with church policies.
• Respond to inquiries within 24 hours when possible.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to support ministry programs.
• Maintain confidentiality and pastoral discretion in all interactions.
