Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Recovery Specialist for its Residential Recovery Program in Aldan, PA. The role is part-time, $18/hour, with weekend shifts, requiring an Associate's degree or equivalent experience and a 4-5 resident caseload.

You will guide residents in daily living skills, provide recovery-oriented counseling, and assist with transportation, medications, and documentation to support each resident's goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 1 year of human services experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Strong communicator who thrives both independently and on a team.
• Comfort managing a small caseload of 4-5 residents and transporting residents.

Responsibilities

• Guide residents through daily living skills - self-care, budgeting, and medication education.
• Provide supportive, recovery-oriented counseling grounded in best practices.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming home through light housekeeping and meal prep.
• Drive residents to appointments and activities using a program van.
• Administer medications in line with DPW standards.
• Respond calmly and confidently in crisis moments.
• Keep accurate documentation and billable service records.
• Advocate for residents and model healthy communication and conflict resolution.
• Partner with your program coordinator and team to support each resident's individual goals.
