Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Recovery Specialist for a Residential Recovery Program in Aldan, PA. You will work with residents to build daily living skills and work toward independence in a supportive team.

Responsibilities include counseling, medication education, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and accurate documentation. You will collaborate with the program coordinator to support each resident's goals and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 1 year of human services experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide residents through daily living skills such as self-care, budgeting, and medication education.
• Provide supportive, recovery-oriented counseling grounded in best practices.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming home through light housekeeping and meal prep.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities using a program van.
• Administer medications in line with DPW standards.
• Respond calmly and confidently in crisis moments.
• Keep accurate documentation and billable service records.
• Advocate for residents and model healthy communication and conflict resolution.
• Partner with your program coordinator and team to support each resident's individual goals.
