Job summary

Carolina Reserve of Laurel Park is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to support residents with daily activities and form meaningful connections. Training for the 80-hour PCA certification is available through Navion, with emphasis on patient comfort and respectful care.

We offer part-time 1st shift roles with every-other-weekend requirements, plus benefits like health coverage and paid time off. Prior experience with seniors is welcomed, and strong communication is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be willing to obtain 80-hour personal care training certificate.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility and incontinence care.
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks and activities; assist in dining room.
• Respond to resident emergency call system and report changes to care coordinators.
• Transport residents when required.
