Job summary

Carolina Reserve of Laurel Park is seeking Resident Care Team Members or Personal Care Aides for 2nd shift, with Navion providing 80-hour PCA training. The team delivers high-quality resident care in an assisted living setting and works with a supportive Navion partner to empower staff and residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, meals, mobility, documentation and communication with families. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma/GED accepted per state regulations.
• Willing to obtain 80-hour personal care training certificate; Navion provides training.
• Positive attitude and teamwork.
• Dedication to serving seniors with good customer service.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility and incontinence care.
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks and activities.
• Assist residents in dining room: serving meals and clearing tables.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
• Observe, document and report any changes to residents’ condition to Resident Care Coordinator or designee.
• Communicate with residents and family members politely and professionally.
• Maintain required resident care documentation per State regulations and Navion policies.
• Transport residents when required.
