Job summary

Saint Therese of Corcoran is seeking two Part-Time Home Health Aides to support residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care. Shifts are 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., every other weekend and holiday, with a pay range of $19.10–$25.91 per hour.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and provide companionship, while documenting care and reporting changes to nursing staff. Minnesota HHA or CNA preferred; 6+ months of caregiving in a senior facility is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of caregiving experience in senior care facility setting.
• Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment within scope of practice
• Strong reliability and dependability with consistent attendance and accountability
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to document care accurately and timely in required systems
• Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to collaborate with nurses and care team members
• Ability to follow care plans, supervisor direction, and established policies and procedures
• Ability to safely lift, move, and transfer residents in accordance with training and safety guidelines
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and transfers)
• Administer medications per training and policy
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in the electronic charting system
• Observe and report physical or behavioral changes to nursing staff
• Provide companionship and support with daily engagement activities
• Collaborate with nurses and care team members to support resident care plans
