Job summary

Village Caregiving in Kentucky invites caring individuals to join our team as part-time evening caregivers/CNA. You will provide one-on-one in-home support, assisting with hygiene, mobility, meals, and daily activities to help clients maintain independence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care experience.
• Lift/move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable daily transportation.
• Willing to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
• High school diploma or CNA/HHA program completion.
• Compassionate, supportive, and patient-focused.
• Hoyer lift experience (client-specific).
• Enjoys one-on-one care and ongoing skill development.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (showering, bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Assist with medication reminders and ambulation.
• Assist mobility around home or outdoors (appointments, walks).
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete shopping or accompany client to shops.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report unusual incidents and act quickly in emergencies.
• Assist with daily living activities including meals when needed.
