Job summary

Appalachian Agency For Senior Citizens, Inc. is seeking dependable PACE Transportation Drivers to join our team, providing safe and reliable transport for PACE participants in the Cedar Bluff area.

Drivers will shuttle ambulatory and non-ambulatory participants, assist with on/off vehicle entry, and ensure participant safety. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, be able to read, write and communicate effectively, and complete required training including

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Training includes PCA/CNA, First Aid/CPR, wheelchair lift operation; DOT tests and background check.
• CDL with passenger endorsement preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport participants to destinations in agency vehicles and assist on/off vehicles.
• Provide participant assistance and ensure safety while driving.
• Maintain accurate records and handle public contact; comply with IDT instructions.
