Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Training provided, including PCA/CNA, First Aid, CPR and wheelchair lift operations.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug and alcohol test, and background check.
• CDL with passenger endorsement is preferred but not required.
• One year of experience with the elderly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport ambulatory and non-ambulatory participants to destinations by agency vehicle.
• Provide assistance on and off vehicles for participants.
• Maintain safety and professionalism with health care staff and participants.
• Accurate recordkeeping is mandatory.
• Some independent decision-making may be required.
