Job summary

WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital in Bluefield, West Virginia seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct outpatient care and serve as the primary contact to screen patients.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the state or multi-state eNLC.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient medical office setting.
• Administers intramuscular, subcutaneous, and oral medications as ordered.
• Assists Providers and the Registered Nurse with examinations and procedures.
• Obtain medical information, take vital signs, and record data in the medical record.
• Escort patients and support scheduling to facilitate clinic visits.
