Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to administer evaluations and therapeutic procedures, operating with independence and initiative in daily work.

Requirements include WA OT licensure, AOTA registration or equivalent educational background, CPR certification, and a minimum of one year of OT experience. Join a multispecialty team and contribute to patient care in a community-focused setting.

Qualifications

  • Must be registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association or have completed the educational requirements of occupational therapy.
  • State of Washington Occupational Therapist license is required.
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification is required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of occupational therapy experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy in accordance with the plan of care.
  • Assist the IDT in the evaluation and assessment of the patient's functional level by applying appropriate diagnostic and prognostic procedures and tests.
  • Recommend orthotics as indicated by condition and needs.
  • Treat the participant through the use of therapeutic activities designed to restore function and self-care activities for the purpose of improving function.
  • Observe, record, and report the participant's reaction to treatment and any changes in the participant's condition to the physician, Clinical Director or IDT as appropriate.

FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days, Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30pm with occasional weekends

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist is an excellent opportunity to administer participants' evaluations and therapeutic procedures. This professional-level position offers you independent operation, and the capacity to apply your initiative, analysis, and service orientation in your daily work functions.

Responsibilities:

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $44.42 - $67.33 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
