This role delivers timely OT services, coordinates with families, physicians, and the health team, and ensures documentation compliance across state and federal rules.

The position offers PRN, part-time or full-time options with competitive pay ($39.00–$46.50/hour) and comprehensive benefits, supporting a mission-driven environment in a welcoming campus

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited by the relevant boards or eligible for certification.
• Minimum one year of OT experience in a long-term care facility.
• Ability to understand medical terminology and communicate findings clearly.
• Dexterity to handle tools and equipment and train residents.
• Must be licensed or registered as an Occupational Therapist in the state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents and provides OT services per physician orders.
• Supervises OT assistants and rehabilitation aides in care tasks.
• Plans, coordinates, and evaluates OT services within the department.
• Maintains treatment records, progress notes, and observations.
• Participates in care planning conferences and coordinates with the health team.
