Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited COTA program.
• Must have taken the NBCOT exam or be eligible to take it.
• Must have a state license to practice as a COTA or be eligible to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' occupational therapy needs and match services.
• Meet with residents regularly per treatment plan and evaluate progress.
• Report progress to management and family members; discuss regularly.
• Repeat evaluations regularly to measure progress according to guidelines.
• Maintain current knowledge by reading literature and attending seminars.
