Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Jellico, TN. This PRN role supports the facility by planning, organizing, and directing OT services to ensure high-quality resident care in compliance with standards.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy and active OTA licensure in the practice state, with ongoing continuing education.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in the facility.
• Conduct regular screenings of residents to determine the best intervention.
• Perform treatment plans and follow short- and long-term goals per plan of care.
• Communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to residents and interdisciplinary team.
• Establish resident therapy schedules in cooperation with team members.
• Ensure documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
