Job summary

Medical Oncology Associates of San Diego is seeking a back office Medical Assistant to join our busy oncology team. The role involves rooming patients, collecting vitals, and supporting infusion and front desk processes in a fast-paced setting.

This in-person, full-time role offers a daytime schedule with pay at $21.00–$26.00 per hour and a benefits package including 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance, plus PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited program preferred.
• California CPT license a plus.
• Experience with venipuncture and patient vitals is expected.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and records vitals and allergies.
• Assist with prescriptions refill requests.
• Triage messages and relay information to staff and patients.
• Maintain confidential patient records per HIPAA.
