Qualifications

• Idaho RN license required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required upon hire.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card within 90 days of employment.
• BSN preferred; OCN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate oncology nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed chemotherapy and biologic treatments under physician supervision.
• Administers hydration, iron treatments and injections as prescribed.
• Monitors patients and assists with oral chemotherapy adherence.
• Educates patients and families on medications and potential side effects.
• Accesses ports, PICC lines and starts IVs.
• Oversees infusion schedules and maintains patient flow.
• Performs therapeutic phlebotomy.
