Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy services in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to support independence and recovery.

The role emphasizes building strong patient relationships, supervising therapy sessions, and celebrating progress as patients regain function and confidence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
