Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver direct patient care, assess and treat patients, and develop personalized care plans. You will collaborate with the care team to support independence and improved quality of life, guiding patients through the recovery journey with empathy and expertise.

The role emphasizes compassionate, individualized care, supervision of therapies, and ongoing patient education to optimize outcomes in a national inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
