Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an Occupational Therapist at Harbour View Medical Center to support patients across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and off-site settings. You will assess, plan, and document progress, delivering therapy and custom equipment to help patients perform daily tasks and return to work or daily life.

Responsibilities include evaluating referrals, developing treatment plans, educating families, and collaborating with care teams to adjust goals as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice (or eligible for traineeship/temporary license).
• BLS certification required within 30 days for certain facilities; otherwise preferred at hire.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and patient history to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct and document patient evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatment plans per department protocols.
• Administer prescribed occupational therapy treatments and create equipment for patients.
• Develop programs focusing on functional skills, vocational training, daily activities and motor skills.
• Monitor progress and adjust goals; participate in patient care conferences.
• Educate patients and families on at-home treatment procedures.
