Job summary

Samash Holistic Home Care LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess patients, discuss therapy needs, and craft customized plans to improve mobility. You will collaborate with the care team to arrange follow-up care, educate patients on lifestyle changes, and provide a positive, supportive presence.

The ideal candidate will have licensing for occupational therapy, excellent communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple cases with compassion over time.

Qualifications

• Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and discuss their health concerns and therapy needs.
• Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient.
• Create a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goals.
• Work closely with other members of each patient's care team to provide adequate follow-up care.
• Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress.
