Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct OT services, assess patient needs, and develop personalized care plans that promote independence and improved quality of life.

You will work within a supportive team delivering compassionate, evidence‑based care, with access to advanced technology and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
