Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct therapy to patients in a hospital-based rehabilitation setting. The role emphasizes supervision, patient assessments, and developing personalized care plans to support recovery and independence.

You will build meaningful patient relationships, guiding treatments and addressing concerns while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
