Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver compassionate therapy that helps patients regain independence and quality of life in a supportive inpatient setting.

You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, provide direct patient care, develop personalized treatment plans, and track progress, celebrating meaningful victories along the recovery journey for each patient you serve.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's Degree preferred

Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience
