Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team, delivering compassionate care that helps patients regain independence and improve quality of life.

You will assess needs, develop personalized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Current state licensure, CPR, and a Master’s Degree (or Bachelor’s with experience) are preferred. We offer strong benefits and growth within a national leader in post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
