Job summary

Bon Secours seeks an Occupational Therapist to join Richmond Health Source Shared Services in Richmond, VA. The OT will assess patients, design therapy plans and document progress across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric and off-site settings.

Responsibilities include evaluating referrals, creating and adjusting treatment plans, and educating families. Licensure in-state is required; BLS is preferred. A supportive benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess and treat pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Proficient in documenting evaluations and progress notes.
• Strong communication with patients, families and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and patient history to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations and create treatment plans.
• Administer OT treatments and adapt equipment for patient needs.
• Develop programs for daily living, work skills and motor function.
• Monitor progress and adjust goals; participate in care conferences.
• Educate patients and families on home treatment procedures.
