Jackson Center for Nursing and Healing in Georgia is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to support residents across ADL/IADL and activities that enhance health and quality of life. You will select and adapt OT models, provide training to families, document progress, and collaborate with staff to ensure safe, dignified care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Occupational Therapist certification.
• Ability to interact with residents, staff, and family members in complex situations with professionalism, dignity, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Address client performance to enhance engagement in health, well-being, and quality of life.
• Select and adapt OT treatment models and approaches case-by-case to guide interventions.
• Implement interventions to optimize safety and performance in ADLs and IADLs.
• Recommend adaptive equipment as needed and train in its usage.
• Provide guidance and education to family members and caregivers.
• Observe, document, and report progress on short- and long-term treatment goals.
