Canton Center for Nursing and Healing is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapeutic interventions geared toward improving daily living activities. The OT will assess environments, educate clients and families, and document progress while ensuring safety and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Must hold certification as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Address client’s performance to support engagement in health-related occupations.
• Select and adapt OT treatment methods per case.
• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in ADL/IADL.
• Educate clients on breaking down tasks into components.
• Assess home and environments for suitability and suggest modifications.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use.
• Educate family and caregivers.
• Observe and report progress toward goals.
• Collect data and document processes followed.
• Regularly follow up with clients.
